The rescheduled route for the Giro d'Italia 2025 Presentation date is undecided

No new date has yet been set for the postponed 2025 Giro d'Italia route presentation, and the widely rumored new date is 1/13.

The routes for both the upcoming men's Giro d'Italia and Giro d'Italia women were originally scheduled to be revealed on 11/12, but have since been postponed.

Cyclingnews understands from multiple appropriate sources that, contrary to reports claiming that the late presentation will take place on 1/13, a new date has not yet been set and the organizer RCS will make it official.

However, it is certain that the places are all in Rome, and reportedly the final stage of the Giro will be held in 2025-6-1.

The possibility of logistical and financial difficulties surrounding the opening days of the Giro d'Italia in Albania has been rumored a lot. But there was no clear update to reinforce that theory.

For now, the three or four Albanian stages of Grande Partenza and after Friday 9 May seem to go as planned. The announcement to that effect is scheduled for mid-12.

Another potential question mark has been raised about the ongoing sponsorship of the Italian company Enel of the pink leader's jersey, which is reportedly worth up to 800 million euros and is due to run out at the end of 2024. Enel has sponsored the Giro since 2016. However, there is speculation that the company may have changed its branding strategy as it has reportedly recently agreed a deal with the Italian national team's sponsors.

Cyclingnews understands that the broad brushstrokes of the 2025 Giro race route have already been determined. With teams keen to complete the main rider's race program, organizers will be under pressure to release at least some details to squads away from the record.

According to AS, the 2025 route for the men's Giro includes two time trials as well as the end of the penultimate stage Summit in sestrieres and the infamous Stelvio entire stage 6/13 Giro d'Italia Women's route also fully determined.

Meanwhile, the 2025 Tour de France route has already been open to the public, and next year's Vuelta a España course, which features a return to the legendary Angril, will be held in Madrid on 12/19.
