Movistar has announced a three-year contract with Swiss rider Marlen Reusser.
Reusser, a three-time European Time Trial champion, is the fourth rider signed by the Spanish team, joining Ana Magalhais, Carice Lloyd, and Junior World Champion Kat Ferguson.Reusser moves from SD Works Pro Time, where she has been for the past three seasons, and joins Liane Lippert, Florche McCaige, and Arlenis Sierra as one of the leaders of the Women's World Tourstead.
“The idea of being part of the Movistar team is something we have worked on together for a long time and something I have dreamed about. I've been excited for a long time,” Reusser said.
“We share the same approach about what we can accomplish together, and I truly believe that this is the right place for me, a place where I have the spirit I need to develop and reach my full potential.”
In addition to his three European time trial titles, Reusser's Parma is filled with GC wins at the Tour de Suisse and Ituria, two stage wins at the Tour de France Femme, and his biggest one-day success at Ghent-Wevelgem in 2023.
She won two stages in the Gent-Wevelgem.
She began her 2024 campaign with an overall win at the Setmana Valenciana in February, but she was plagued by poor health in the second half of the season, her most recent race being the Swiss Championships in June.

She joins Demi Vollering and Niamh Fischer-Black, who is aiming for Lidl Trek, on the transfer list, while Christine Majerus has announced her retirement.
The Dutch team brings two-time world champion Anna van der Breggen back from retirement, while Tour of Chongming Island champion Marta Lach (Ceratizit-WNT), New Zealander Mikayla Harvey (UAE Team ADQ), and Skylar Schneider, who raced for the team from 2018 to 2020.
