UCI Road World Championships 2024 - Mixed Relay Start Times

A record number of teams will compete in the mixed relay time trial at the UCI Road World Championships, with 20 nations gathering in Zurich on Wednesday.

Two-time world champions Switzerland will be the last team down the start ramp, but will be without anchor Marlen Reusser, who missed the second half of the season with post-COVID injuries.

France, last year's runner-up, will trail the Swiss team at the back of the start list.

The Netherlands, which won its first mixed relay world title in 2019, will not be on the start line.

Mongolia will start as the first team, with Olympian Jambaljamts Sainbayar anchoring the first half of the race, and three men will complete the 26.85 km as a team time trial; as the second athlete crosses the line, three women will complete a lap of the course; the first team will be the first to cross the line, and the second team will be the first to cross the line. [2025 Teams from Rwanda, Afghanistan, Algeria, China, Ecuador, Ukraine, UCI World Cycling Center, Bulgaria, and Estonia, the host country of the UCI Road World Championships, will start every three minutes and complete the first wave between 14:00 and 14:27.

Canada will start the second wave at 15:41, followed by Spain, Austria, Denmark, USA, Germany, Australia, Italy, France, and Switzerland.
