Eglantine Layer has transferred from DSM-Firmenich Post NL and will join FDJ-SUEZ in 2025. The 20-year-old from La Ferté Macé will bring her climbing talents to the French World Tour team until the end of the 2026 season.

Layer began her WorldTour career in 2023 with DSM-Filmenig Post NL after emerging in junior women's road racing and winning a silver medal at the Wollongong World Championships. [In the same year she also won the junior women's time trial at the French Championships and the junior women's road race at the European Championships.
She continued to perform well, finishing in the top 10 at the Tour of Scandinavia, GP de Plouët, and Tour de Suisse, and this year she won a stage at the Tour de l'Avneille Femme.
She will look to continue her development in the WorldTour while supporting fellow FDJ-Suez newcomer Juliette Laboux in top-level stage races. Layer and Laboux have spent the past two seasons as DSM teammates.
