Caden Groves remains at Alpecin Deceuninck despite transfer rumors

Despite hinting to the Belgian media before the third stage of the Vuelta a España that he was signing with a new team and fueling rumors that he was leaving Alpecin de Seunink, Kayden Groves has actually renewed his contract with the team through 2026.

Groves joined Alpecin-Desseuninck in 2023 after turning pro with BikeExchange in 2020; in 2023 he won five stage victories at the Vuelta a España, one overall points win, and one stage win at the Giro d'Italia. He is also looking to make his debut in the Tour de France in order to achieve a stage win in the Grand Tour.
