As widely expected, Lawrence Petit will move from Groupama-FDJ to Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe at the end of the season.
The German WorldTour team has not announced the length of the New Zealander's contract, but considers him an important new addition to the Classics.
Pitti is the second new player announced by Red Bull-Borla-Hansgrohe for 2025, after Giulio Pellizzari joined from VF Group-Bardiani CSF-Faisane. The team will also get more players if Remco Evenpole's contract with Sourdal-Quickstep is terminated.
