The women's peloton returns to the Women's World Tour race in Rotterdam for the 3rd Tour de France Femme Avec Zwift, August 12-18.
Last year's second edition saw Demi Volering finish one-two in the SD Volks Pro Time with Lotte Kopecky in second place; the two were among the favorites to win in their last campaign as teammates and are expected to do even better this year.
The race is contested in eight stages over seven days, and the Tour de France Femme route begins with the first overseas Grand Depart in Rotterdam.
Sprints and time trials will take place in the Netherlands, followed by a hilly stage in the Ardennes to Liège, and then on to mountain stages in Le Grand Bornard and the Alpe d'Huez.
Top stars of the women's peloton will also compete, along with Vollering and Kopecký.
Others include Ashley Moolman-Pasio (AG Insurance - Suredal), Chloe Diggart (Canyon - Slam), Mavi Garcia (Liv-Alura - Jayco), Leanne Lippert (Movistar), Marianne Voss (Visma - Reese A Bikes), and The Lidl-Trek trio of Elizabeth Deignan, Gaia Lealini, and Elisa Longo Borghini should also be noted.
NBC has the rights to broadcast the Tour de France in the United States. The race will be broadcast live on NBC and its streaming service Peacock TV.
Peacock TV offers a 7-day free trial for those who wish to try before they buy. A full subscription to the service starts at $4.99 per month.
FloBikes will broadcast the Tour de France femme in Canada. Annual subscriptions are $12.99 per month.
The Tour de France Femme will be broadcast live on Eurosport and Discovery+.
A "standard" subscription to Discovery+, which includes Eurosport's cycling coverage, costs £59.99 per year, or £3.99 per month until the end of 2024 for the Olympic special deal. The package includes year-round cycling streams as well as other live sports such as snooker, tennis, and motorsports.
These, plus TNT sports (Premier League, Champions League, and Europa League soccer, plus rugby, wrestling, UFC, and MotoGP) are included in the premium subscription, which costs an additional £29.99 per month.
In Australia, national broadcaster SBS will provide live coverage of the Tour de France femme. In New Zealand, Sky Sports will provide live coverage.
For full French-language coverage of the race with a local touch, go to France TV. In Europe, broadcasters include VRT/Sporza and RTBF in Belgium, NOS in the Netherlands, TV2 in Norway, DKTV2 in Denmark, and RTVE in Spain.
Note, however, that regional restrictions may apply if you are out of the country or on vacation during the Tour de France Femme.
If you are outside of your region and need to access a live streaming service to watch the event, access may be regionally restricted.
In this case, a VPN service can be useful, making it look like your computer is at home so you can log into your streaming account and catch all of the race action.
Our colleagues at TechRadar thoroughly tested several VPN services and came up with some great recommendations below.
Some other very good options that are secure, reliable, and offer good bandwidth for streaming sports are ExpressVPN and the best budget option, Surfshark.
