Josie Talbot to go on world tour with Liv Alula Jayco in 2025.

Josie Talbot has signed a two-year contract to compete in the WorldTour with Liv Alura-Jeiko from 2025 to the end of the 2026 season.

Talbot spent two seasons with the French Continental team Cofidis, gaining experience in the biggest races on the international calendar, including the Tour de France Femme. His goal for next season is to support the sprint team and leadout with Liv Arulla-Jeiko.

"Joining Liv Arulla-Jeico means a lot to me, having grown up watching the team race, especially competing against them locally every year at nationals and the Tour Down Under. Talbot said, "I'm looking forward to furthering the Aussie culture that our athletes have built up over the years."

"I already know many of the riders on the team well and I am confident that will work to the team's advantage in terms of results. I think I can integrate well into the sprint team and strengthen the lead-out. My personal goal is to establish a solid position in the WT. Ultimately, I'm here at Rib Aroura Jayco as a lead-out rider, so my priority is to fulfill that role, but I want to enjoy every opportunity along the way."

Talbot, from Sydney, Australia, began racing internationally with Team Illuminate in 2017, competing for Continental and Club teams before moving to Cofidis in 2023.

She has top 10 finishes in the Tour of Britain Women, reVolta, Dwars door de Westhoek, and La Picto stages. She has also won stages at La Perigord Ladies, Tour Feminine International des Pyrenees, and the Oceania Continental Championships elite road racing title.

"We are happy to welcome another talented Australian rider to the women's team. Talbot has proven she has a lot of skills. She is a great asset and teammate and we believe she will fit very well into our team culture," said General Manager Brent Copeland.

"The women's set-up has big goals for 2025 and Talbot will play a key role in achieving them. We look forward to seeing how she can grow further with us as she steps up to race in the World Team setup."
