In the men's race, the Netherlands, with sprint superstar Harry LeBreyson, is the leading contender to win. In the women's race, world champion Germany will face Olympic champion China.

NBC owns the broadcast rights to the Olympics in the United States. The Olympics will be televised on several of the network's television channels, as well as on the network's streaming service, Peacock.

All rounds of the men's and women's team sprint events are available on Peacock, which offers a 7-day free trial for those who wish to try before they buy. Peacock Premium is available starting at $7.99 per month. Peacock Premium Plus, which is ad-free, is $13.99 per month.

The finals of each competition will also be broadcast live on television, with the women's final on August 5 on USA Network and the men's final on August 6 on E.

These channels are available with a cable plan, but don't worry if you don't have cable; Sling is smart TV service that allows you to watch cable channels on your TV, laptop, or tablet without having to subscribe to an annual cable TV package in the U.S. USA Network and E. are available on Sling with the $40 monthly Sling Blue package ($20 for the first month). If you live in Canada, you can watch the Olympics on several broadcasters, including the free-to-air CBC and the subscription services TSN and Sportsnet.

It is not clear if CBC will air the team sprint as part of its daily television broadcast. The finals will be streamed online on CBC Gem. Access to the ad-free on-demand library is $5.99 per month, but the ad-supported version is free.

TSN and Sportsnet do not have dedicated streams for each sport, so it is not certain if the Team Sprint event will be cut as part of their programming.

TSN's subscription service is set at $19.99 per month or $199.90 per year. Sportsnet SN Now subscriptions, on the other hand, are $14.99 per month or $179.99 per year.

In the UK, cycling fans can watch the Olympics for free on the BBC through BBC One, BBC Two, and BBC iPlayer.

However, the BBC only has the rights to broadcast two streams at a time, so while track cycling will be heavily supported by the national broadcaster, there is no guarantee that all rounds of the team sprint will be televised.

In that case, it would be seen on Discovery+, which has the most comprehensive coverage in the UK: 3,800 hours of live action on 55 channels.

A special Olympic promotion offers the "standard" package Discovery+ for just £3.99 per month. The package includes a year-round cycling stream in addition to other live sports such as snooker, tennis, and motorsports.

In Australia, cycling fans can watch the Olympics for free on Channel 9 and its 9Now streaming service.

As in other regions, a significant portion of the action is expected to be included on live television, but for guaranteed coverage of all team sprint races, fans can head to 9Now on their smart device of choice.
