Kasia Niewiadoma has extended her contract with Canyon-Slam for another two years and will race for the Germany-based WorldTour team until the end of 2026.
Niewiadoma, a contender for the Tour de France Femme, considered moving to another team, but ultimately admitted that remaining with Canyon-Slam was the best option.
"I decided to stay with Canyon-SRAM Racing because the decision gave me a deep sense of happiness. Of course, I considered other options, but it didn't seem completely right.
The reigning Gravel World Champion has been a key member of Canyon-SRAM since joining the team in 2018. In seven seasons with the top-level program, she has won the Flèche Wallonne, Trofeo Alfredo Binda, and Amstel Gold Race. She has also won the Emcmene Vila Tour of Britain, placed second overall in the Giro d'Italia, and twice placed third overall in the Tour de France, among other major stage races.
"I feel great support from the Canyon-SRAM team, whether things are going well or not. I feel accepted, understood, and motivated in my position as one of the team leaders and as a rider who can share his knowledge with the younger riders."

[12Despite the success of her professional cycling career, which began in Rabobank in 2013, Niwiadoma still has several race goals to check off her bucket list, including an overall win at the Tour de France and several major spring classics She said.
"We dream big together. I want to bring home the yellow jersey and I want to win the Strade Bianche and the Tour de Flanders. We want to wear the rainbow jersey as well as the gravel. With Canyon-SRAM Racing, I believe everything is possible."
