Visma Rees A Bike will come together with 8 riders, including Wout van Aert and Jonas Vingegaard, at the final training camp at Tignes, next month's Tour de France

Current champion Vingegaard has already trained at tignes altitude for 1 week before the final selection is made. But on Monday Van Aert and Christophe Laporte are out to join him.

After the race, the trio will be joined by the team of the Critérium du Dauphinet, including Sepp Kus, Matteo Jorgenson and Thies Benute, and the decision of the Tour de France team will take place in about two weeks.

Vingegaard and Van Aert are both back from a major crash earlier this year and Dane is still recovering from the Itzulia Basque Country fall and Van Aert will ruin the spring classic at dwars door Vlaanderen crash.

Van Aert will take part in a 5・day tour of Norway at the end of the 4th month. He has 1 race under his belt. 

Visma-directeur sportif Frans Maassen, who leases bicycles, said that although the race may be "a little too early" for fan Aert, it helped the Belgian understand his level of fitness.

"We will look at the level of each rider," Maassen told het Laatste Nieuws. 

"There was nothing that Van Aalto had to drop off at the uphill finish of Stages 1 and 2 in Norway. But then he joined the Bunch Sprint in stages 3 and 4 and he really needs to have won the final stage.

"The tour of Norway may have been a little too early for him. But he is Wout van Aert. He quickly recovered and improved every day. He had a good feeling after Norway, but of course there is still a lot to do."

If Fan Aert needs to make a tour team, he is expected not only to play a team role, but also to try his own chances at certain stages. I also sometimes think about preparing for the time trial of the Paris Olympics.

"If Van Aalto gets on the tour, a lot depends on the role," Maassen said. "With or without Vingegaard, it will be a different role every time.

"He is smart and whether he needs a tour to realize his Olympic dream, or whether it is better to do an advanced training camp in Livigno on 7 May"
