The rebranded German World Tour team Red Bull Bora Hansgrohe officially launched in the countdown to the Tour de France, the team confirmed this week.
The addition of Red Bull was confirmed for Bora Hansgrohe's team at the beginning of the season and it was announced that the new U-23 team will form part of the sponsorship deal in 2025. The junior team, Grenke Auto Eder, has already formed part of the team's broader infrastructure.
The team launch will be held at Salzburg Airport in Austria on 6/26, just before riders fly to Italy for the start of the Tour de France on 6/29.
The launch will also announce a new team kit and the full lineup of the Tour de France will be presented to the media.
The team, known as Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe, is currently racing the Criterion du Dauphiné, his first race since a violent crash in the Itzulia Basque country, the Tour de France for the first time by Primoš Rogliš
with Alexander Vlasov in 2022. Giro d'Italia winner Jai Hindley is expected to form part of the lineup with one of the most powerful teams in the 2024 Tour de France 1.
According toWielerflits, the newly designed Red Bull jersey shows similarities to the Red Bull Formula1 team kit for motor racing. According to the Dutch website, it is reported that the annual budget is also set to almost double to 4500 million euros as a result of Red Bull's participation in Bora-Hansgrohe as a sponsor, according to the Austrian media.
