Tour de France Femme organizers have confirmed the seven teams that will join the 15 women's WorldTour teams in this year's race.

Cofidis and Tashkent City have earned an automatic invitation under UCI rules as the top UCI Continental women's team for 2023.

Five wild cards remain, Arkea-B&B Hotels and St. Michel-Mavic-Auber93 from France, EF Education-Cannondale from the US, Lotto Dstny Ladies from Belgium, Laboral from Spain Kutxa-Fundacion Euskadi were selected.

The Tour de France Femme will start in Rotterdam on August 12 and finish in L'Alpe d'Huez on August 18.

It will be the second appearance for Cofidis and the third for Arkea B&B Hotels and Saint-Michel Mavic Ober 93.

Ion Lazkano, sports manager for Laboral Kutxa-Fundación Euskadi, said it was a "big prize" for the team.

"Competing in the Tour de France is the most we can hope for in terms of sport," Lazkano said in a press release. 'After all, the Tour de France is the best race, it's where everyone wants to be and where all the media attention is. For the team and for the project, it's a big prize to be able to participate in the world's greatest race."

Lot Dstny is also excited to have received the invitation, writing on social media, " I am very excited to announce that the Lotto Dstny ladies will be one of 22 teams participating in the start of Le Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift." "See you in Rotterdam on August 12!"

EF Education Cannondale was more succinct, posting "We're going to the Tour" in all caps with a few exclamation points.
