Brands large and small tend to hold sale events at well-known times of the year. Black Friday, January, and in the cycling industry, the end of summer.
But Mike's Bikes, one of the largest cycling retailers in North America, threw us a curve ball this week and decided to reduce everything on its website until the end of the weekend.
Yes, that's right. All of it. There is some fine print in that you have to send an email to unlock some discounts, but that's just a few.
Deals only work if the product itself is actually worth buying in the first place. While there are tons of genuinely decent offerings, the following products are ones I would have bought if I were on the right side of the Atlantic.
Indeed, being a North American retailer, this is only for readers in the US.
Be that as it may, all of the deals listed below are ones that I have used, appreciate, and continue to use regularly myself, so you can be sure they are good ones.
Head directly to the sale here, or scroll down to see my picks.
Mike's Bikes isn't the only brand to have a surprise sale just as summer starts to warm up. In the UK, Specialized recently announced up to 50% off hundreds of items including gravel bikes, mountain bikes, clothing, and accessories. For a summary of the Specialized sale, click here.
