It's late April, and after what has felt like the most relentlessly wet winter ever for those of us in the northern hemisphere, the days are finally getting longer and the weather drier.

With the change of seasons, millions of cyclists are enjoying an environmentally friendly and mentally invigorating commute, bike in hand.

Cycling News has designated this week as Commute Week and is doing its best to support the transition from four wheels to two.

Fortunately, today is also Earth Day.

As part of Commute Week, we'll be taking a closer look at bike commuting in all its forms and what you can do to make your commute as exciting, fun, and safe as possible.
