Yellow jersey / maillot jaune - worn by the overall leader who finishes the stage with the lowest cumulative time.
Green Jersey - The green jersey is a points award. Points are awarded for one of the two intermediate sprints during the stage and for the stage finish, and the rider with the most points leads the ranking.
Polka Dot Jersey - The red and white polka dot jersey is the mountain prize. During the Tour de France, points are awarded to the first rider over certain hills and climbs, and the most difficult the mountain, the more points are awarded. Once again, the rider with the most points leads the ranking.
White Jersey - The white jersey is the highest classification for young riders. It works in the same way as the yellow jersey, but only riders under the age of 25 can win it.
