The 2024 Tour de France Women's Avec Zwift will start in Rotterdam, with three stages starting in the Netherlands before heading to France.
The third edition of the women's Grand Tour will not start immediately after the men's Tour de France, but rather between Monday, August 12 and Sunday, August 18, during the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The Tour de France Femme will consist of eight stages over seven days, with a double stage on Tuesday, August 13, including an afternoon time trial in Rotterdam. The 2023 Tour de France Femme will start in Clermont-Ferrand on Sunday, July 23 and end in Pau on Saturday, July 30 with a time trial after a summit finish at the Col du Tourmalet the day before.
"Together with The Hague and Dordrecht, we are proud to host the Tour de France Femme's first Grand Depart abroad," said Rotterdam Mayor Ahmed Abatareb.
