The second Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift will begin on Sunday, July 23, with the Grande Pearl in Massif Central and the finish in Pau on July 30.
The 2023 Tour de France Femme route is 956 km long, with the peloton heading south into the Pyrenees. Stage 7 will feature the summit finish of the iconic Col du Tourmalet, the pinnacle of the 2023 Tour de France Femme, while the individual time trial on stage 8 will determine the overall winner. [The 2023 Tour de France Féme will be broadcast globally with live coverage of all eight stages, 124 km of flat racing, with the winner taking the first yellow jersey of the eight-day race.
The second stage, on July 24, starts in Clermont-Ferrand and runs 148 km on a hilly course to Mauriac. Starting in Collonges-la-Rouge, there are several short climbs and a flat run-in to Montignac-Lascaux.
On July 26, stage 4 will be the longest stage of the competition at 177 km of hilly terrain with an elevation gain of 2,400 meters. The race will start in Cahors, but most of the climbing will be in the second half of the stage, where the pan tours will be in contention for the finish in Rodez.
Stage 5 on July 27, when the race heads further south into the Pyrenees, will start in Honay-le-Château; the 126-km route will feature a series of short climbs, followed by flat terrain all the way to Albi. Albi is also the start of the sixth stage on July 28, a 122-km route that will include four climbs before a flat finish to Blagnac.
The queen stage of the Tour de France Femme will take place in stage 7 on July 29. Stage 8 will take place in Pau, where the peloton will close out the competition with a 22 km time trial.
