It is strongly rumored that star sprinter Fabio Jacobsen is likely to leave Sørdal Quickstep and move to DSM Firmenig at the end of 2023.

The AD reports that Jacobsen plans to sign a three-season contract.
Wielerfritz noted that Soudal-Quick Step already has a top sprinter in Tim Mellier. The Belgian team also wants to rebuild its underperforming classics team and focus more on current world champion Lemko Evenpoel in the Grand Tours.
At the same time, DSM-Filmenig has expressed interest in signing a top fastman for 2024 and already has a strong sprint train, although DSM-Filmenig tried to sign talented young sprinter Olaf Kooij for 2024, The Dutchman ultimately chose to stay with his current team, Jumbo-Visma.
Jacobsen, 26, who recently won two stages of the Baloise Belgian Tour, will lead Sudar-Quick Step in the Tour de France along with Frenchman Julien Alaphilippe.
Jacobsen, who won his first stage at last year's Tour de France, also won five stages at the Vuelta a España, as well as the points battle for the Spanish Grand Tour in 2021.
