Colombian Jarlinson Pantano made a surprise return to racing after a four-year ban for doping by EPO.
Pantano was part of the small Colombian EPM-Scott team.
The 34-year-old climber is also a stage winner of the Tour de France and Tour de Suisse.
Shortly after his ban was completed, however, Pantano changed his mind and announced that he would race again.
Pantano began his career with Colombia Espacion in 2011, then moved to the now-defunct Swiss IAM cycling team, and was with Trek-Segafredo before his positive test.
In addition to competing in all three Grand Tours, he won four races throughout his career, three of which were at the World Tour level, including a stage of the Tour de France in the Jura mountains at Curroz. His last victory came on a Pyrenean stage in the 2018 Volta a Catalunya.
"I am very happy to be part of this family," Pantano said in an interview posted on EPM's Twitter page.
"I join this team to contribute as much as I can, using my experience and what I have learned in my professional career. I want to thank all those who have supported me over the past four years and insisted in their messages to me that I return to cycling."
