Juliette Lavos aims for the podium at the Tour de France Femmes.

Juliette Lavoux has become one of France's most famous professional cyclists, along with Julien Alaphilippe, Pauline Ferrand-Prevot, Thibaut Pinot, and Audrey Cordon-Lago, since finishing fourth overall in the 2022 Tour de France Femme, She has a growing fan base in her hometown.

The Team DSM rider will be back in the spotlight at the Ardennes Classics and then the Tour de France Femme in July.

"I think it's special for the French people, especially after the Tour de France, and I'm grateful that people who watch the Tour de France on a regular basis, like my neighbors, have shared with me the excitement they felt at last year's Tour de France.

"After the Tour, there was a change in how people viewed me and how they viewed women's cycling.

As a step up to the Ardennes Classics, Labouse recently finished sixth in the Tour de Flanders and has her sights set on the Amstel Gold Race as her next goal. She will race the Amstel Gold Race with Francesca Barrard, Léa Culinier, Bourges des Pannes classic winner Pfeiffer Gheorghi, Esme Peperkamp, and Elise Ouyen.

Together with Flèche Wallonne and Liège-Bastogne-Liège, however, these three races are more of a stepping stone to the big stage races this summer.

"I like the Ardennes and it will help me in the GC races later on, the GC race is a big goal, but I need other goals as well, so I will certainly do the one-day races where there is less pressure and I can freely try new things," said Lovace.

LaBruce has been a rider with Team DSM for seven years and is now emerging in the women's peloton at the young age of 24.

She won the overall at last year's Vuelta a Burgos and won the queen stage at the Giro d'Italia Donne, and has become a force to be reckoned with.

Her rise in professional racing has always been towards the overall class leader of Team DSM, and she said that it took consistency, trust, and support to get her career to this point.

"I feel even more supported and trusted than before, but I think I was always trusted from the moment I joined the team.

"It became more clear to me that I was the leader. That's a big difference from last year when I often shared leadership. I was already in a leadership role in GC, so it's not a big change.

LaBruce said she has a high fatigue tolerance and her climbing is world class, plus she is strong in time trials. However, she said she has spent a lot of time this off-season sprinting to become a more well-rounded athlete.

"I've been working on my climbing ability for three seasons, but this winter I changed it up a bit to be more complete while keeping my resistance ability," Lovace said of her training program.

"I wasn't explosive enough to cover the attack, so I tried to work more on that so I could react better while keeping my climbing level as high as possible.

This year, Loves hopes to move from fourth to the podium at the Tour de France Femme and feels that his new training plan will allow him to step it up even further.

"Last year at the Tour de France I was a little short of the podium physically. This year I want to be on the podium and prove that physically I can be on the podium [in the race]," she said.

"I need to keep working like I have been. I have always progressed with this team. I want to keep training and staying true to my goals as I have in the past."
