Tour de France 2024 Ends with 35km Time Trial to Nice

The 2024 Tour de France will finish on the French Riviera. A nail-biting finish is expected with a tough summit finish on the Pass de Couillol on stage 20 and a 35km individual time trial from Monaco to Nice.

Race organizer ASO announced the route details on Monday morning, a day after Tadej Pogachar took the stage win and overall victory on the final day from Paris to Nice.

The 2024 Tour de France finale will be held in a Mediterranean city, as the traditional finish on the Champs-Elysées in Paris will not be available due to the capital Paris hosting the Olympics.

Stage 20 of the 2024 Tour de France will be a 132-km stage starting in Nice with a 4,400-meter climb through the Col de Braus, Col de Tourini, and a summit finish at the Col de La Colmiane.

The final stage on Sunday, July 21, is a hilly 35.2 km course from Monaco to Nice. The final 15 km is a long descent into Nice along the Promenade des Anglais.

More to follow.
