Remco Evenpoel showed off his 2023 Sourdal Quickstep rainbow jersey. He will also use a white Specialized bike with a rainbow band.
The 22-year-old Belgian won the Vuelta a España and took the rainbow jersey in Australia in a 25km solo attack.
Evenpoel is the youngest rider in history to win Liège-Bastogne-Liège, a Grand Tour, and a world championship in the same season, and will look to continue this success at the Giro d'Italia before his world title defense in Glasgow in August.
He will make his season debut at the Vuelta a San Juan International in Argentina.
"I'm really happy and proud to wear this jersey so early in my professional career. I'm looking forward to it," Evenpoel said in a video running in the 2023 colors.
"I know it's going to be a special year, there will be a lot of pressure, and it's going to be a different type of race with the jersey on. But I'm going to let it all come to me, relax as much as I can and enjoy this jersey for the rest of the season. It's best to just go with the flow."
The Quick Step-Alpha Vinyl team, which will become Sourdal-Quick Step on January 1, showed off its new Evenpoel jersey early in a photo shoot at the team's training camp near Calpe, Spain.
The world champion's jersey must respect certain UCI rules, with the rainbow bands in white and the team sponsors placed on the chest, back, and arms. The jersey sleeves and black shorts feature rainbow bands, while the red stripe of new title sponsor Soudal covers the thighs of the shorts.
Racewear is made by Castelli.
