Rapha Donates $150,000 to World Bicycle Relief on Black Friday

Traditionally, Rapha has always shunned the winds of chaos and free capitalism that swirl around Black Friday weekend. This year, however, for the first time in years, Rapha's Black Friday sale will take place, with the brand offering 25% off all full-priced items on its website (opens in new tab), as well as its usual revamped archival sale (opens in new tab). Fortunately, despite their decision to participate in the discount bonanza this year, they have not abandoned their tradition of handing over a hefty check to World Bicycle Relief in conjunction with the global shopping extravaganza. Three donations of $150,000 have been made so far this year, directly to WBR's Communities on the Move project:

As always, Rapha staff are given the day off to ride their bikes for Black Friday As always, Rapha staff were given the day off to ride their bikes for Black Friday. Rides are being organized worldwide, in cities in Europe, the US, Asia, and Australia, as well as at various clubhouses.

You can join an organized ride or, if you are lucky, go out yourself. It is also a good idea to think about the work of related charities in the bargain and consider making a donation to the fund. If you would like to make a donation, go to the Rapha Black Friday Ride page (opens in a new tab) and scroll to the bottom for a link.
