Guerreiro has joined the team on a three-year contract through 2025.
"Movistar is a team that I have admired since I was a little kid, and I am very happy and motivated to have the opportunity to join them," said Guerreiro.
"I believe I have not yet reached my full potential and the next few years will be the best of my career. I want to fight not only in Grand Tours and week-long races, but also in hard one-day races like the Ardennes, to get the most out of myself as a climber."
"The big challenge for the future? I'd love to aim for GC results at the Giro d'Italia and Vuelta a España, which I love. I will give everything for this team."
Romeo joins the team as a 19-year-old neo-pro after working in the same Axeon Hagens Berman training setup as Guerreiro.
A former Spanish junior race and time trial champion, Romeo stands 1.93 meters tall, is a strong ruler, and is expected to develop as an all-rounder. He has also signed a three-year contract.
"It's a dream come true for me since I was a kid," he said.
"I grew up watching this team and I can't believe I'm going to be a part of it. I won't believe it until I see myself in the team colors."
