Honoré Terminates Quick Step and Alpha Vinyl Contracts, Moves to EF Easy Post

Quick Step Alpha Vinyl announced Thursday that it has terminated the contract of Danish rider Mikkel Honoré. The exchange comes a day after EF Education-Easy Post released Ruben Guerreiro, who will join the Movistar team in 2023.

Honoré began his career as a trainee with Quick Step in 2018 and spent four seasons with the team, whose manager Patrick Lefevre described him as "a very talented and versatile rider" and "a selfless team player."

He should have more opportunities to fight for results after four seasons racing with newcomers Richard Kalapas and Andrei Amador, who are moving to EF-Easy Post to support Quick Step's team leaders.
