Fabian Cancellara and Tom Boonen will take the stage together for the first time since ending their careers more than five years ago at "Rouleur Live" on November 3-5.
The two riders have had a notorious rivalry throughout their careers, dominating the cobbled classics in races spanning a decade. Boonen won Paris-Roubaix a record four times, while Cancellara won three times and three times in the Tour de Flanders.
Their head-to-head in the 2010 Tour de Flanders and Cancellara's infamous attack on Mule now sit in the Hall of Fame of cycling legends.
Beyond Roubaix and Flanders, the palmarès of the two riders have often been compared in debates over who was the better rider.
Cancellara wore the Tour de France yellow jersey for 29 days and won 16 world and national time trial titles. Cancellara, the Swiss time trial star, has 89 wins to Boonen's 118, but with his victory in Milan-San Remo, Cancellara now has three monumental titles to Boonen's two.
Two former world champions will headline Thursday night's stage events at Rouleur Live at Truman Brewery in East London.
In addition, cycling stars such as Fred Wright, Lachlan Morton, Demi Volering, Lizzie Banks, and Ben O'Connor will take the stage, as well as Eurosport and GCN's " A live episode of Breakaway will also be held.
In addition to road cycling stars, Rouleur Live will also feature stage events featuring industry luminaries such as Rapha founder Simon Mottram and fashion designer Sir Paul Smith.
Aside from the stage events, Rouleur Live will feature over 45 cycling brands showcasing their flagship products and new releases, including Pinarello, 3T, Wahoo, and Lotus in 2021.
