The Ineos Grenadiers have signed their third signing of the 2022 transfer window, acquiring Connor Swift from Arkea Samsic on a two-year deal.
Swift, a 26-year-old Yorkshireman, is now one of 11 English players set to join the 2023 Ineos squad with Adam Yates' future still up in the air.
Swift has spent the past three and a half seasons with Arkea Samsic after joining midway through the 2019 season from British continental team Madison Genesis to work as lead-out man for Nasser Bouhanni.
Since his move, he has established himself as a valuable domestique and all-rounder and a promising one-day classic player, winning the Toro Bro Leon last season.
"I am very excited to be joining Ineos Grenadiers. It's really refreshing to see how the team is now evolving with the next young wave and their dynamic approach to racing, and it's special to be a part of this journey."
"This is a team that I have always looked up to, with many riders who have inspired me. I'm really looking forward to stepping up and wearing the Ineos jersey next season and racing with them.
Swift is the third rider confirmed to sign with Ineos in 2023, joining neo-pros Josh Tarling and Leo Hayter.
The transfer list confirms Richard Kalapas and Andrei Amador's move to EF Education Easy Post and Dylan van Baarle's move to Jumbo Visma, while Richie Porte has retired.
"It's great to have Connor join the Grenadiers at such a critical time in his development. He has already shown his talent in several big races and will add great depth to the team."
." He added: "His career to this point has been a consistent progression and if he maintains that upward trajectory, we will definitely see some great races from him.
