Jumbo Bisma gets Dylan van Baarle and Wilco Kelderman.

Jumbo Visma has announced the signing of Dutch duo Wilco Kelderman and Dylan van Baare.

The two have long been rumored to be moving to Jumbo Visma, so the move comes as no surprise.

Paris-Roubaix champion Van Baarle joins from Ineos Grenadiers, strengthening a Classics lineup that already includes Wout Van Aert, Christophe Laporte, and Thiesj Benoot.

Meanwhile, Kelderman, who started his career with the team when it was known as Rabobank, joins from Bora-Hansgrohe to boost the already strongest Grand Tour team in the peloton.

"There is a special feeling that Wilco is returning to the team where it all began for him," said team director Merijn Zeeman.

"We are proud and happy that Dylan has chosen us. He has great palma and is a highly respected rider in the peloton. We are aiming for a big prize and having Dylan on our team will increase our chances of success."

Van Baarle has spent the past five seasons with Ineos Grenadiers after turning pro with Garmin in 2014. He spent three seasons with Rabobank Continental before that, so this move is something of a homecoming.

The 30-year-old has recently enjoyed the best two years of his career, winning Dwars door Hlaanderen a year ago, followed by Paris-Roubaix this spring. He was also runner-up in the Tour of Flanders and the World Championships.

"I'm really looking forward to next year. As a Dutch rider on a Dutch team, it feels like coming home. I have watched the development of the team closely over the past few years," van Baar said in a team press release.

"I chose Team Jumbo Visma because of the upward trend. With Wout and riders like Tiesj and Nathan [van Hooydonk], we have a really strong team, especially in the classics. I want to have a good race in the spring and also contribute in the stage races. Jonas (Vingegaard) won the Tour this year.

Kelderman, meanwhile, has spent the past six seasons with Sunweb and Bora-Hansgrohe after turning pro with Rabobank in 2012.

He left the team in 2016 to compete for the Grand Tour podium, finishing fourth at the 2017 Vuelta a EspaƱa, fifth at the 2021 Tour de France, and third at the 2020 Giro d'Italia The 31-year-old won the overall at the 2013 Tour of Denmark He has also won the 2013 Tour of Denmark overall.

"I'm happy to be working with him again. It's been a while since I've been away, but Team Jumbo Visma feels like my home team. I know the people at Team Yumbo Visma very well and have always kept in touch with them. This is the right development in my career. The team is progressing and I'm interested to see where it leads."

"Team Jumbo Visma is an ambitious team and I want to contribute to their goals. I still have a lot of room to grow and I think I have great things to show. It goes without saying that this team has had a lot of success lately and I want to support the riders who have made it in the big races. I also want to pass on my experience to the younger riders. I'm really looking forward to it."

The deal is the first confirmed move for Jumbo Visma this off-season, although other riders such as Jan Tratnik and Attila Valter have been rumored to be on the move.

Tom Dumoulin, who retired last week, Mike Tunissen, who is moving to Intermarque Wanty-Gobert, and Chris Harper, who is moving to Bike Exchange Jayco, are confirmed to be leaving. Elsewhere, Nathan van Hooydonk and Tiesj Benoot have signed two-year contracts to remain with the Dutch team.
