NTT completes 2020 roster with Carvel subscription.

NTT Pro Cycling has signed Michael Carvell to complete its 2020 roster. The 24-year-old Carvel, who joins from the Danish UCI Continental team "Team Waoo," brings the team's roster to 29 riders for the season.

"I am thrilled to join the team," Karbel said in a statement released by his new team.

"My dream of running at the World Tour level has finally come true. It will be tough, no doubt, but I am looking forward to being a part of NTT Pro Cycling."

"The training camp in Denia will be my first opportunity to meet everyone on the team.

Carvel carved out a career as a sprinter, finishing third in the U23 World Championships road race in 2017. He joined Bjarne Riis' team Virtu Cycling in 2017 and the following season joined Team Fortuneo - Samsic.

Riis recently became the new co-owner and director of NTT, bringing in Daniel Holm Fodor from Waoo as director along with Carvel.

NTT's team principal, Douglas Rider, welcomed the two additions.

It is exciting for us to have Michael and Daniel step up to the World Tour in different roles at NTT Pro Cycling. We believe in diversity, hard work, and creating opportunities, and we look forward to the impact they will have as we move forward together this season"

. [Mark Cavendish has moved to Bahrain McLaren and Steve Cummings has retired. Rolf Aldag also left the team after a public disagreement with a rider regarding the team's Tour de France registration.

The team signed world hour record holder Victor Campenaerts and U23 world champion Samuele Battistella from Lotto Soudal.
