Italian couture cycling kit brand La Passione has introduced a new series for the 2020 summer cycling season. Marketed as the new CELL series, La Passione combines advanced textiles and construction with the unmistakable style for which Italian road riding is celebrated.

The first item in La Passione's CELL Series is a lightweight cycling jersey (opens with new tab), made from a blend of four different performance materials. Each one delivers the specialized characteristics of the overall performance of La Passione's CELL jerseys, ensuring that the garment will remain comfortable even when you enter the pain cave on road rides.

A design feature of the CELL jersey is its unique geometric graphic pattern. Technical details include laser-cut collars and sleeves, reversible zips, etc. The lower hem of the CELL jersey is made of silicone to provide tension for years of use and a non-slip fit.

Safety features of the CELL Jersey include strategically placed reflective details that ensure other road users can see you, even in low light conditions.

The primary function of summer cycling jerseys is thermal management, and with lightweight mesh fabric inserts at the appropriate ventilation contact points, the CELL jersey keeps you cool on muggy road rides.

Storage is handled by three reinforced rear pockets, and the CELL Jersey weighs only 133g and costs €85.

In addition to the jersey, La Passione also offers the new CELL bib shorts for €110. La Passione's CELL bib shorts are made of high compression Lycra that is ergonomically cut and joined to provide excellent support and will not move around while riding.

Internal silicone strips keep the bib shorts in place and the rider sits on an anatomical pad for comfort. CELL bib shorts with built-in cooling holes ensure optimal ventilation while riding and prevent chafing. Reflective piping enhances visibility.

La Passione has also designed a special cycling sock to complement the CELL collection. Spun from Merrill Skinlife yarn, these CELL socks keep feet cool and dry during rides in extreme temperatures and are available for €12.
