If you missed the Spring Classics and are missing out on top-level teams and riders facing off in one-day races, the Pro/Am Invitational Zwift Classics (opens in new tab) offers six unique races, and during the month of April, Zwift s best men's and women's teams racing each other, streamed live on CyclingNews. In addition, the virtual platform will host rides and workouts by some of your favorite pro riders.

In the Pro/Am Invitational Zwift Classics, each event will take place in a different Zwift world and the course will remain open for four days after the Pro/Am Invitational for all Zwifters to try.

"Racing on Zwift is a great feature and I personally love participating," said Eric Min, CEO and co-founder of Zwift.

"Zwift Classics is a great showcase of the best racing through the world of Zwift. Watch the best racing live and test your mettle on six different courses."

The Pro/Am Invitational Zwift Classic races not only pit the best teams against each other for glory, but also set fresh challenges in each race. Points races, team-based races, and hill top finishes await.

The Pro/Am Invitational race will start at 7pm BST/2pm CET on April 5 and run every four days at the same time; Zwift Worlds will include Yorkshire, London, Bologna, Richmond, and Watopia, ending in the newly added crit city.

Pro-Am women's teams and Pro-Am men's teams will alternate different races. The Pro-Am women's team will start the Zwift Classic at the Yorkshire Grand Prix (April 5) and will also lead races at the Trofeo Bologna (April 13) and Watopia Cup (April 21). The Pro-Am men's team will compete in the London International (April 9), Richmond Challenge (April 17), and Crit City Slam (April 25).

Each Pro-Am race will feature a variety of racing challenges, ranging from scratch race formats to team and individual points races. Teams competing include SEG Racing, Ribble-Weldite, Hagens Berman Axiom, NTT, Canyon-DHB, Canyon-SRAM, and Twenty20.

The first race had already begun on Sunday, with Megan Lasswell (SRIS) winning the opening round of the Pro/Am Invitational Zwift Classics-Yorkshire Grand Prix.

The event is a points race format on the Royal Pump Room course. The women's team covered the full course of the 2019 UCI Road World Championships, which was used last September in Harrogate, Yorkshire. The teams raced in both directions, with the winning team being Team HEINO, which scored the most points on the day.
