Canyon ZCC, the world's first eRacing team to compete exclusively on digital platforms like Zwift, today announced a partnership with Verve Cycling, maker of the famous InfoCrank power meter used by British Cycling
However, the partnership is not a simple one.
But the partnership goes beyond just power measurement and post-race analysis tools. The partnership aims to set a precedent regarding equipment calibration and data transparency during digital races.
The team has also partnered with Wahoo Fitness, giving them access to an ecosystem of American-branded indoor cycling equipment, including Wahoo Kickr, Kickr Climb, and Kickr Headwind. Kickr combination will make the team the first in eRacing to have all riders on the same primary and secondary power source, and upload both data sets to ZwiftPower for enhanced validation.

"Unlike other cycling events, where data is often secondary and only utilized after the race, in eRacing, on the contrary, data is the race," explained Canyon ZCC team manager Rhys Howell. "I had two criteria: I wanted the most accurate product, and I wanted a bulletproof product that wouldn't suffer from misinterpretation. And I'm happy to be working closely with Verve on both hardware and software to make Canyon ZCC the most accurate team in eRacing.
