Tom Pidcock (Trinity Racing) has revealed his calendar for the 2020-21 cyclocross season.
The Brit, who was runner-up in the elite men's race at the 2020 UCI Cyclocross World Championships last season, will kick off his campaign with the fourth round of the Super Prestige Series in Merckxplus on November 22.
He will also compete in three more races in Boom, Gavere, and Heusden-Zolder and all five UCI World Cup races. Two rounds of the X2O Trophy (formerly known as the DVV Trophy) in Antwerp and Baar are also on the 21-year-old's menu.
Pidcock, a two-time British 'cross champion, had hoped to make it three in a row at Crawley in January, but that event was postponed due to COVID-19. Pidock will finish his cross season at the World Championships in Oostende, Belgium, on January 31.
Pidcock will begin the 2020 season with three stage wins and the overall win in the under-23 Giro d'Italia, as well as the E-MTB and U23 Cross Country titles at the Mountain Bike World Championships. He also made his elite debut at the road world championships, finishing 42nd in the 258-km race in Imola, Italy.
Shortly after his victory in the Giro, Ineos Grenadiers, along with Adam Yates, Daniel Martinez, Richie Porte, and Lawrence De Plus, announced that they had signed a three-year contract with Pidcock for the 2021 season. Superprestige, Heusden Zolder
