Alvarado and Van Aert to Open Cyclocross World Cup Season in Tabor

Seylin del Carmen Alvarado (Alpecin-Phoenix) and Wout van Aert (Jumbo-Visma) headline the women's and men's entries in the 2020-2021 UCI Cyclocross World Cup opener in Tabor, Czech Republic, on Sunday.

The women's race will feature 54 entries from 13 countries, with 10 from Belgium, including former world champion Sanne Canto (IKO-Crelan).

The star of the women's race is the world champion who has dominated this year's truncated cyclocross season, winning the European Championships and rounds of the Telenet Superpresitge in Jaarmarktcross, Geiten and Ruddervoorde. Alvarado.

Due to the COVID-19 coronavirus, this year's World Cup series will have only five races.
