Lotte Kopecky Adds World Cup in Hulst to Cyclocross Competition

Lotte Kopecký will wear new team colors in the new year, but that doesn't mean he's taking a break from his work with Lotte Soudal after a successful season on the road, according to Sporza, the reigning Belgian road and time trial national champion took part in his first cyclocross race in October.

"I'm enjoying it. There is no stress, nothing is demanding," Kopecky told Sporza. 'Yes, I always look forward to racing. There's no stress, nothing to do. I don't expect to be on the podium. Everything is allowed, but nothing is required. That's what I enjoy about cross."

Kopecky will compete in the World Cup race in Hulst this Sunday, followed by the Belgian championships on January 9. 2021 will be his first road season since moving from Lotto Soudal, where he has raced for the past five seasons, to Liv Racing, where he will compete in the spring classics and the summer He will concentrate on the spring classics and the track races for the Tokyo Olympics scheduled for the summer.
