The result was a seat post that is 60 mm longer than the standard for children's bicycles. This allows for ample height adjustment, and the use of a child-specific Specialized Bridge saddle and narrower q-factor cranks allows for a more natural cadence with hip-to-knee pedaling dynamics.

Specialized also makes jet bikes with cranks that feature two bolt threads, allowing for different pedal positions.
