Adidas has just released a pair of indoor cycling shoes, rather ingeniously named Indoor Cycling Shoes. In case you're wondering, they are cycling shoes designed specifically for indoor cycling, and we imagine they are vying for a spot on our list of the best indoor cycling shoes. Adidas has recently returned to cycling in a big way with the launch of its equally imaginatively named road cycling shoes and gravel cycling shoes, starting with the launch of the Velosamba, an SPD version of its iconic Samba shoe. Now, the sporting giant has entered the indoor cycling market with the introduction of indoor cycling shoes, just in time for winter (at least here in the northern hemisphere).

Indoor cycling shoes are designed to meet what Adidas calls "the intense demands unique to indoor cycling. The uppers are made from more than 50% recycled materials, are lightweight and breathable, and have two open mesh windows to increase airflow and keep feet cool during high-intensity indoor workouts, according to the company.

Meanwhile, the fiberglass-reinforced midsole plate aims to provide proper stiffness for efficient power transfer; compatible with three-bolt SPD-SL cleats and featuring heel and toe cups for easy walking, the gym spin classes as well as for pain caves at home.

They also include Velcro straps with hook-and-loop fastening throughout for easy entry and quick adjustments.

The indoor cycling shoes are available in black, white, and red options and feature the brand's iconic three-stripe motif on all sides. They are available in sizes UK6-14, with half sizes also available, and are priced at £110/$130/€130.
