Lotto Soudal's veteran Belgian rider Thomas De Gendt agreed today to a two-year contract extension with the team, which will keep him there until 2024.
The 35-year-old breakaway specialist has already enjoyed success this year, winning a stage for the second time in his career, 10 years after winning stage 8 of the Giro d'Italia.
"With this team I have been able to become the attacker I always wanted to be," de Gendt said.
"These past eight years have been filled with beautiful victories and great memories.
