The Tour de France will remember the victims of the shopping mall shooting in Copenhagen before the start of the fourth stage in Dunkerque on Tuesday.
As the riders gather at the start, there will be a minute of applause before the Danish riders line up at the front of the peloton.
On Sunday afternoon, three people were killed and four seriously injured in a shooting at a Copenhagen shopping mall. The shooting occurred two days after the Tour started in Copenhagen, as the race was finishing the Danish Grande Parle in Sønderborg.
The peloton flew from Denmark to northern France on Sunday evening before the Tour's first rest day. Racing resumes on Tuesday with the fourth stage from Dunkerque to Calais.
"The Tour de France assures the Danish people of its sympathy and compassion at this time. The Tour is very shocked and saddened by what happened in Copenhagen," read a statement from Tour organizer ASO on Sunday.
"The people of Copenhagen gave the peloton the best welcome in the history of the sport and had formed a deep bond with all their followers. The entire caravan of the Tour de France extends its heartfelt condolences to the victims and their families."
